1967 Mustang Convertible - Completely Restored!

Listing No.: 50357
Model: 1967 Ford Mustang
Price: SOLD!

This 1967 Mustang convertible is an older restoration that is beginning to show its age. It's equipped with a correct 289 C.I. engine, 2 barrel carb and was bored .030 over stock when rebuilt. The engine runs well and is mated with an upgraded C4 automatic transmission. The fuel lines, brake lines and suspension components were replaced, including KYB gas shocks on all four corners and period correct, 15" Cragar wheels. The Dark Moss Green paint and saddle tan interior are an attractive combination. The convertible top is power operated, and the interior is in excellent condition. Exterior paint is fair with areas where the surface preparation was less than perfect. We would describe the paint as a "20 footer". That is to say it looks beautiful driving by, or sitting in a parking lot, but close inspection reveals a number of flaws. Manual steering and stock drum brakes that came with the car work well. Although this classic Mustang is not a factory GT, a GT-style exhaust was installed during rewstoration. The Mustang also has new Classic Auto Air conditioning running R134a Freon. The AC unit is controlled through the factory air/heater controls and blows through the original vents for a concours look. The Mustang comes with the original license plate, original build sheet, copy of original title, original Fender Tag and original owner’s manual. If you're looking for one that is priced well below market that you can own and drive today, this one is worth considering. It is priced to sell at $23,900! The car is located in Florida and is available for a pre-purchase inspection.
